All IB Courses
The list below shows all courses offered by SIB or by other departments with an SIB cross-listing, both graduate and undergraduate, in numerical order. Courses at the 100, 200, or 300 level may be taken for credit by undergraduate students only. (Graduate students may enroll but will not receive academic credit for the courses.) Courses at the 400 level may be taken for credit by both graduate and undergraduate students. Courses at the 500 level may be taken by graduate students only. For courses that offer graduate credit, graduate students earn 1/4 unit credit per hour of listed credit.
Use the (orange) menu at the left to view a list of courses that fill area requirements for the undergraduate major or a list of additional approved courses for the IB major.
Separate lists of courses required for the IB major and for courses required for the IB Honors concentration are also available. Admittance to Honors is by interview in the second semester of the freshman year. Graduate students should look under their specific departments or programs (blue menu at left) for a list of course requirement specific to their units.
Other University of Illinois information about courses, including current class schedules and catalogs of all available UI courses, may be found on the University of Illinois web site.
