Description: Classification, anatomy, ecology, behavior, distribution, and evolution of fishes of the world. Emphasis is on morphological, ecological, and behavioral diversification of fishes in a phylogenetic context. Laboratory devoted to anatomy and identification. 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: IB 302; or consent of instructor.
