Welcome! Our goal is to provide assistance in the processing of employment data for staff in the research laboratories, for instructional programs and administrative staff of the School of Integrative Biology.  

NOTE: All new employees MUST be fully cleared by HR BEFORE they can begin working. Contact SIB HR PRIOR TO making any offer of employment. ALL new hires MUST contact SIB HR prior to their first day of work. No one can begin working until they have filled out an I9 form or verified that they have one on file.

SIB Human Resources Emails:

sib-hrappointments@illinois.edu – Use when you have questions or want to add a job for undergrad or grad students, extra help, academic hourly, postdocs, or when you want to open a search for a permanent employee. You will also use this email for payroll questions, timesheet related issues or concerns, appointment and hiring questions (basically, anything related to a position of any kind). 

sib-hr@illinois.edu – Use if you have any HR related questions that are not tied to a job or appointment/position processing. This includes: Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), benefits, labor relations, promotions, annual reviews, disciplinary actions, or performance concerns, trainings, and more.
