Our Integrative Biology major program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of life sciences. It incorporates various subfields, allowing students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals. Additionally, we offer a historic IB Honors program and several minors and certificate programs. Our combined BS + MS in IB program offers students a unique opportunity to double-count credit toward both degrees.

IB majors are highly competitive in gaining admission to professional schools, including medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, PA, nursing, and pharmacy. Most pre-health requirements are either required for the IB major or can be used as advanced IB courses in the major. Therefore, very little course work outside the IB major is needed to fulfill the prerequisites for health programs.
