Title: Zero Waste Analysis Fellow

Em is the current Zero Waste Analysis intern with UCSF, a fellowship provided in part by Climate Corps. Climate Corps is a bridge-to-career fellowship program that recruits and places rising climate professionals to implement climate change mitigation and resiliency projects.

As a Zero Waste Analysis Fellow, Em is spearheading projects to further the system's goal of reducing waste output by 300 metric tonnes in the next year. By conducting waste audits and running analyses on these observations, individual healthcare units, the UCSF Sustainability Department, and the UC system as a whole obtains valuable data on progress toward Zero Waste goals.
