Eric graduated with his Integrative Biology degree in 2008 and then stayed at Illinois to get his MS in ACES under IB faculty Alison Bell. During his career he also got a Business Certificate from Harvard. He has worked in a range of careers including wildlife biology and pharmaceutical sales and is currently a Director at Beckman Coulter/Danaher.

Eric manages a $430M portfolio of life science research instrumentation products serving academia, government , biotech, biopharma and clinical customers. He manages product portfolio and strategy as well as complementary processes related to research and development, supply chain, logistics, operations, manufacturing, business development and lifecycle management.
