Marwan Abughazaleh earned his Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2026. He is currently a first-year medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
The flexibility and support of the Integrative Biology program allowed Marwan to efficiently complete his pre-medical requirements while developing the strong scientific foundation and critical-thinking skills needed for medical school. The mentorship he received from his academic advisor was especially influential in helping him navigate his path, remain confident in his goals, and successfully take the next step in his medical education.
