Alumni Profile: Andrew Tran

Title: Chief Resident Physician 
Employer: Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Systems 

 

Andrew Tran graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Biology Honors from the University of Illinois in 2017. He later earned an MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2021. Andrew is currently the Chief Resident Physician at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Systems. In his role, he leads and supervises medical residents, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and medical education. 

 

Andrew's degree in Integrative Biology has been instrumental in guiding him toward a career in medicine. The program helped him understand the bigger picture of how biological systems work in tandem, which has been crucial in his medical training and practice.
